Pray BFF #69                                   March 12, 2005

Dear Prayer Team,

Busy & Delighted

The Lord seems to be confirming the idea of a printing business to print training material. People have been asking for printed matter on parenting, marriage, Roman Bible Studies and other things. Meanwhile there is so much to learn. Here is just one recent request for materials from Ethiopia.

In our campus, we do have a Christian Students Fellowship, 173 in number. I am one of the leaders in this fellowship. We do have a worship and teaching program twice a week. Once in a week we have an "Action Day" to preach the Gospel for the unsaved in and outside the campus. We have a great desire and love for the Word of God to know the truth and grow in His Son's likeliness. But we don't have any Bibles, Study Bibles, and any Spiritual books.

Paul has been able to make significant progress on various writing projects in the past few weeks. He has also added to his list the completion of the Cross Training discipleship materials. God has been gracious to give His abundant help. Paul's greatest inspirations come from his quiet time with the Lord early in the morning.

"The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple" (Psalm 19:7).

Meanwhile speaking opportunities have increased. Paul has sensed a greater anointing from the Holy Spirit and is very thankful for God's help. On the other hand, we wonder, with his writing goals, how much he should speak? He needs discerment to have the right balance.

Thanks to God!

Requests to God

The Feb. 6 Parenting class in Florida went well. It was great to speak to a non-Chinese church and see their positive response.

Paul has begun to follow up some of the NextSteppers' pastors. It is great to help support these pastors. They have really welcomed the relevant materials.

Thank the Lord for safety in traveling to New Jersey late at night for a meeting regarding the Next Steppers.

New Life classes are being well-received.

Our family has had two or three people sick since coming back from Florida. Pray for health and God's mercy for spring to come.

Praise God that our home church has finally been able to purchase her own building–debt free! The deal is now been finalized. People said that this was impossible but God did impossible.

We thank the Lord that BFF received more financial support for February!

Paul will be preaching March 13 and 20.

Pray for wisdom as Paul makes plans to return to India in September.

Pray that the Next Steppers training materials are translated quickly so that they can be used for the Next Step follow-up.

The Chinese parenting class has been delayed to April. Pray for parents that want God's way for their lives and families.

The condensed version of the marriage seminar had a good start. The second meeting is this Friday (March 18).

Pray for the 1,000 people who visit the website each day. May God enrich their lives. One seminary asked to use BFF's Book of Roman questions.

Paul is preparing to video some material for a Library that he and his pastor will coproduce in April. More to learn!
