Reflection

  1. List eight people around you, including yourself, and see if a sense of hopelessness has affected one or more areas of their lives. If so, what is the result of this despair?
  2. The church seems to preach a bold message but cannot help people meet real needs. What do you think? Is this true with the churches you are familiar with?
  3. If your parents are believers, would you say they demonstrate the power of Christ in their lives?
