Section 3 · Lesson 32 of 32

Equipping Mature Believers

The mature stage has no further earthly stage to graduate into in this model. Its aim is ongoing development within maturity: deeper prayer and Scripture study, renewed commitment, and faithful responses to changing circumstances.

Lesson goal: Sustain ongoing growth, perseverance, and fruitful service through a deepening relationship with Christ.

Fruitful service depends on abiding in Christ. Mentoring can support meaningful devotional habits, recovery after a lapse, and perseverance when fruit is not immediately visible; mature believers still press on and learn rather than claiming completion.

Key Teaching Points

  • Mature believers continue developing within this stage.
  • Deepen prayer, Scripture study, and a fervent response to God.
  • Keep service rooted in abiding in Christ.
  • Use personal or small-group mentoring to support perseverance.
