Our Mission
Biblical Foundations for Freedom (BFF), by God's grace and for His glory, seeks:
- To have people everywhere encounter the power and relevance of God's Word in their lives.
- To equip the church with media-enriched Christian training materials and programs for each level of spiritual maturity.
- To provide advanced instruction and training resources for the development of strong and godly Christian leaders.
BFF's Vision
The continuing development of technology and communication provides an extraordinary opportunity to release the life-changing power of God's revealed truth worldwide. Biblical Foundations for Freedom seeks, by God's grace and for His glory, to proclaim the relevance of God's Word through practical, Scripture-centered, media-enriched teaching. From the beginning, this work has been understood in three broad stages.
Stage #1 – Hope Restored
Communicating the power and love of God through practical, graphic-oriented materials that show how the truths of God's Word address real needs such as fear, pornography, worry, relationships, temptation, and spiritual growth.
Purpose: Reconnecting people to God and His Word by providing hope that, by God's grace and truth, they can find freedom from sin and power to live godly lives.
Stage #2 – Knowledge Expanded
Developing and coordinating biblical teaching resources that strengthen discipleship and Bible understanding, while affirming the authority, truth, and relevance of God's Word for daily life.
Purpose: Reviving interest in and commitment to the relevance and power of God's Word among Christians worldwide.
Stage #3 – Reformation Generated
Bringing together a broad range of scriptural teaching to develop a comprehensive, relevant, and easily communicated biblical perspective for believers, families, churches, and Christian leaders in today's world.
Purpose: Helping individuals and communities understand and respond to the timeless truth of God's Word so that biblical renewal can extend outward through the church and society.
Celebrating 25 Years of BFF
For 25 years, the form of BFF's ministry has continued to develop, but the central calling has remained the same: make God's truth clear, practical, accessible, and useful for the growth of believers and the training of Christian leaders. Today that vision is expressed through two websites, books, free online courses, Bible studies, videos and audio, digital libraries, translations, and international training resources.
