We don't normally think of pressure, self-discipline and character building as blessings but in the home-school environment indeed, they have been. Children and parents alike have gained much from this year of instruction .

We are so grateful for the flexibility of our schedule. It enables us to take vacations or field trips at the best possible times.

 

More than this is the opportunity to focus on building character through the emphasis of God's word. We have been memorizing the Sermon on the Mount. It gives us joy to see our children mature in physical, spiritual, and emotional ways.
