Dear Friends and Family,

Some of you may be wondering, "Where are the Bucknell's now ?" The answer is right here in Pittsburgh, PA in our beautiful, old house. However, we have faced some of the greatest changes in our life !

Paul has been working hard at getting a new ministry called Biblical Foundations for Freedom (BFF) off the ground. The exciting part is that so many new ideas and articles have flooded his mind that he doesn't have enough time to implement them. The frustrating part is that he rarely has time to update an old message (some might think this is good!). This web project is now full grown and active. Paul is beginning to see how some of his former aspirations are tying together in this ministry. At this point he wants to continue developing web-designed materials which make God and His Word relevant to people's lives. Paul suspects that more opportunities to speak on these relevant topics of experiencing God's grace in our lives to overcome anger, bitterness, worries, sexual problems, etc. will present themselves as time goes on.

For a whole year, we have been trying to sell our home and move south to be closer to Paul's parents. We have heard, "The house is nice, in good condition and priced right," again and again - but no buyer. After examining our circumstances, we took our house off the market. One of the biggest factors was the expectation of our eighth child in mid-October. Moving close to the baby's arrival could prove to be unrealistic. Interestingly, Paul has been asked to be on the ordination council for two pastors here in Pittsburgh about the same time as the baby is due!

Linda, with her extra furnace burning all the time, is often sweltering in the heat. As usual, she is 3+ cm (3 weeks) bigger than normal at this time. Up to now it has never proved to be twins but always uncomfortable. The Midwife Center does not have their own rooms at present so we have chosen to give birth at home instead of at the hospital (of course if everything goes well). So what's happening with our other 7 children?

Elizabeth, has chosen to be home with us for the summer. She has one year left of college. We have very much appreciated her presence in the home. Choosing to serve others during her break is special. She has also had different odd jobs here and there. She is also using time this summer to get ready for her Senior Art Show.
