HOLY SPIRIT IN ACTS
Paul J. Bucknell
Luke, the author of Acts, in Acts 1:1-5, distinguishes between what he wrote in the Gospel of Luke and in the Book of Acts. The gospel deliberately covers what material? What does he hint at discussing in the book of Acts (1:3-5)? The central role of the Holy Spirit sometimes gives the title “Acts” to the book, as “Acts of the Holy Spirit.” This might be a more accurate description.
Observe how the Holy Spirit actively works through the book of Acts.

Discussion
Let’s now think through the involvement of people in God’s work.
Did you notice the transition from those apostles who personally met Jesus and others who had not had the chance? What is the significance of this?
