Lesson Summary
God is personal, not an impersonal force. Scripture presents knowing God as fellowship with the Father and the Son. Sin broke that relationship, but God Himself acted to restore it. God reveals Himself through creation, conscience, and especially His Word. Moses’ desire in Exodus 33—“let me know Thy ways, that I may know Thee”—leads naturally into God’s self-revelation in Exodus 34:6–7. Genuine knowledge of God should produce change, worship, obedience, and increasing joy.
