Lesson Summary
God is exalted above creation in position, majesty, authority, and glory. Holiness stresses His moral distinctness; exaltation stresses His supreme height and honor. Ephesians 2 adds an extraordinary dimension: the exalted God raises His redeemed people with Christ so that His grace and kindness might be displayed through them. The fitting response is humility, worship, obedience, and delight in God rather than self-exaltation.
