The Servant’s Rejection
Isaiah 53:1–3 describes the difficulty of the Servant’s life: His message is doubted, His outward appearance does not attract people, and He is despised and rejected. The passage exposes how easily people judge God’s work by popularity, appearance, and immediate response. The Servant remains faithful when recognition is absent.
