The Priest–People relationship points first to Christ, our High Priest, who alone provides forgiveness and continues to intercede for His people.
Knowing His priestly work deepens both humility and confidence. We do not rely on our own goodness; we depend on what Christ has done and continues to do for us.
His compassion becomes our pattern. Believers learn to carry other people before God in prayer, care about the lost, and persist in intercession rather than remaining absorbed in their own needs.
