Awareness should lead to humility, gratitude, prayer, and dependence. Instead of waiting for difficulty to drive us to God, we can seek His presence regularly and acknowledge His purposes in what we do.

Key Teaching Points

  • Religious knowledge alone does not establish a living relationship with God.
  • Ignoring God’s work encourages self-reliance and pride.
  • Prayer and worship express dependence on God’s active presence.
  • Seek God regularly rather than only when circumstances become difficult.

Scripture to Consider

Psalm 49:20; Psalm 14:1–4; Psalm 119:23–24; Philippians 3:17–19

For Reflection

  1. Where have you been carrying out responsibilities without seeking God’s help? Identify one change in how you will pray and act.
  2. Recall an answered prayer or evidence of God’s care. How could gratitude reshape your approach to today’s work?

Reflection prompts help you apply the lesson; they are not graded quiz questions.
