28. Equipping New Believers

New believers should receive practical tools that help them meet God, understand His Word, resist temptation, and belong to His people.

Equipping moves beyond explanation to use. A believer learns how to pray, read Scripture, confess sin, seek help, participate in fellowship, share faith, and make decisions that honor God.

Skills are learned through demonstration and practice. Instead of merely telling people to study the Bible or pray, a trainer does it with them and then helps them practice independently.

Early equipping builds confidence without promoting self-sufficiency. Every skill should deepen reliance on God and connection with His people.
