#4 Desiring God's purpose
Summary of Principles

God's plans
overrule ours
God's plans
are intricate
Our plans
need correction
Our plans
are purposed
1 The plans of the heart belong to man,
But the answer of the tongue is from the LORD.
2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight,
But the LORD weighs the motives.
3 Commit your works to the LORD,
And your plans will be established.
4 The LORD has made everything for its own purpose,
Even the wicked for the day of evil."
Be willing for our plans to be disturbed. Be open for impurity in our motives. Give our plans to the Lord to decide what to do. Seek God's purpose for our lives
When God changes the plans for my life, I will respond in surprise , gratefulness and delight for protecting me and providing something better. When the Lord upsets my plans, I will respond with careful attention to His teachings that any heart impurities might be purged. When I perceive I have any definite plans for my life, I will respond by promptly giving them to the Lord so that His greatest plan for my life might be accomplished. When circumstances seem nasty or pleasant, I will respond by discerning and delighting in God's purpose.
