Lesson 11 of 16

Delight in Joint Service

God did not redeem a people merely so they could stand safely on the sidelines. From creation onward, He delights to work with human beings. Redemption restores that calling. God purchases a people for Himself, brings them near, fills them with His life, and sends them into His work as witnesses, servants, priests, salt, and light. Our ordinary work, ministry, intercession, and proclamation can all become part of this shared service. God could accomplish His purposes without us, but He chooses fellowship and partnership. The privilege of redemption is therefore not only belonging to God, but joyfully laboring with Him for His glory and the good of others.
