Lesson 14 of 16

Deeper Fellowship with our Lord

The cross answers the great question of how sinners can be reconciled to God, but redemption also asks a second question: what did God save us for? Scripture’s answer is deeply relational. God shares His work, His holiness, His love, and finally His own fellowship with His people. From the Law and tabernacle to the indwelling Spirit and Christ’s picture of the vine, God repeatedly moves toward His people so that they may live near Him. Intimacy is the sharing of life. As we abide in Christ, His Word shapes our minds, His presence gives security and joy, and His life bears fruit through us.
