Small Group, Family or Church Group Questions

Description and purchase Abiding in JesusSomeone asked, “How does the idea of “lifting up” a branch apply to a cell group that’s not bearing fruit? How do I do this as a cell leader?” Try going through this series of questions.

Comment

The leaders should already be meeting/prayer together seeking God on the kind of fruit that God wants to bear through them as a group of God’s people. Their prayers should be answered during group discussions and prayer times. Significant points for John 15

If one proceeds without this common focus, then the evil one can easily use this division of focus (e.g. People do not want to be committed). Consistency of abiding and seeking the Lord together is important to bear fruit so that the Lord is glorified.

As the leader is able to lead the group into such times with the Lord and His Word, then they are more aware of what the Holy Spirit wants to do through the group.

This concludes the study on John 15
