Catching Up

Let's do a bit of review.

What do the three objects in the boxes stand for?

1. The Inverted Curve stands for the bridge or the journey God wants to take us on.
2. The Valley stands for the 5 historical stages of worry.

Each of us now fit into one of the last three categories:

  • Self independent (not a Christian)
  • Not worrying (at the top like a Christian should be)
  • Trusting ourselves rather than the Lord (Christian in sin)
3. The Two Arrows represent the two main goals of this seminar.
  • Firstly, we are trying to bring people to trust in God through Jesus Christ. He is the Prince of Peace. Adam misplaced our natural trust in God. Jesus restores it.

  • But also, we want Christians to obtain what is rightfully theirs. They have been deceived thinking they cannot get rid of worries. This is not true. They were designed to walk in the peace of God.

Overcome Anxiety: Finding Peace, Discovering GodThrough our sessions we will be giving a few questions to help us remember and review what we have learned. If you don't know the answer, that is okay. Just click on the line, and the answer sheet will pop up!
