They attempt to control our thoughts and then penetrate our hearts.

Many people can describe the problems that anxiety brings, but who can tell us how to actually understand the process of overcoming these anxieties?! We have some special truths from God's Word which actually helps us understand the actual way worries can be overcome.

We have focused our last sessions on dealing with anxious thoughts. Anxious thoughts are temptations that must be rejected. They attempt to control our thoughts and then penetrate our hearts. We need to reject them before they get a hold of us.

However, we also need to start dealing with our worried hearts. Many of us seem to have just accepted the fact that we worry. We hear people say, "It is the way I am." These worries have penetrated our hearts and found such a home that we no longer consider them strangers.
