14. Curiosity

Children learn by noticing, asking, exploring, and connecting new ideas. Spiritual growth also benefits from curiosity. Believers who ask thoughtful questions discover how God’s truth applies to areas they previously overlooked.

Curiosity must be guided by reverence and truth. It is not an excuse for endless speculation. Its best use is to pursue clearer understanding so that faith and obedience become stronger.

Good teachers welcome sincere questions. Rather than rewarding passive listening, they help learners observe Scripture, think carefully, and seek answers that lead to worship and action.
