16. The Young—Stage 2

Developing believers need strength, discernment, practice, and opportunities to overcome real challenges.

The young stage is marked by growing strength and increasing responsibility. Believers begin applying truth more independently, confronting temptation, serving others, and discovering their gifts.

This stage requires more than additional information. Developing believers need practice, feedback, accountability, and opportunities where faith must function. Failure can become part of growth when it is met with truth, grace, and perseverance.

Wise leaders do not keep young believers passive. They provide meaningful assignments while remaining close enough to encourage, correct, and help them learn.
