25. Taking Careful Aim

Effective trainers aim carefully at the actual needs of people rather than scattering truth without direction.

All Scripture is valuable, but every learner does not need every topic at the same moment. Careful aim identifies the present need, chooses fitting truth, and designs an appropriate response.

This requires listening and observation. Leaders learn about the person’s faith, struggles, relationships, responsibilities, and stage of growth before deciding what emphasis will help most.

Careful aim does not narrow the Christian life. It increases effectiveness by placing each truth where it can best strengthen the whole person.
