1. What are some things man does thinking God will be at peace with him?

2. Is this Biblical method practical enough to help people?

3. How difficulties do we have making this process part of our lives?


C. The Fight With God Man's Need of Salvation. Ro. 5:6-8

1. Does man really need salvation?

2. What do your friends think about this? Is it real? Necessary?

3. What do you think? Let's contrast how others think with the Bible's view.

4. What 3 words in verses 6,8,10 are used to describe the 'us'?

5. Who does the 'us' or 'we' describe in these three verses (6,8,10)?

6. What do you like about those 3 words? What don't you like about them?

7. Why is helpless a good description of our days before we knew Christ?

8. Think of another situation where we might use the word helpless. Describe it.

9. Why might Paul think 'enemies' (10) a good way to describe non-Christians?

Application
1. Do you think a non-Christian's statement, "I don't need a savior" is correct?

2. What could we say to that person to help him better understand God's mind?
